Anna is a Founder and Managing Director of AY OpenWorld, an international consultancy specialising in helping governments and businesses align economic and workforce development, create innovative policy and transformation solutions across various industry sectors and develop new routes to markets globally.
Anna is British Ukrainian. She is a seasoned external affairs leader with more than 25 years of experience in international relations, macroeconomic reforms, policy, and standards, in particular in education and healthcare.
Anna has extensive expertise in developing and delivering international programmes and working with governments, private companies and charities. In her current role as Founder and Managing Director, she has developed and led several economic, workforce and healthcare transformational projects in MENA, Asia and Europe.
For more than 7 years Anna was Director of International Government Relations and Stakeholder Engagement at Pearson.
Prior to Pearson, Anna was heading the Quality Assurance and Accreditation at the Royal College of Surgeons, with its systems and products being adopted widely in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, India and China and becoming the definitive benchmark of quality in surgical education globally.
Prior to the Royal College of Surgeons, Anna was leading international development programmes at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), including Education, IT, Consumer Rights and Civil Society development.
Anna holds MA in International Relations and Financial Management.
