Andy Ward is the founder of WHi Consulting Ltd, a UK based, internationally focused management consulting firm, and Director of ideation.AI, a digital start-up that applies Artificial Intelligence to intensive care settings in hospitals. Specialising in healthcare, technology and life sciences, his work over the last 20 years has seen him run businesses in GE Healthcare and consult with PA Consulting and Deloitte, prior to setting up his own firm in 2015.
He has worked with national and regional governments, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies on areas such as strategy and policy implementation, organisation and system design, regulation, facility feasibility and development. His wider experience includes cost reduction, efficiency and productivity improvements, and patient pathway and flow optimisation. Andy is often a trusted client advisor and regularly acts embedded in organisations to deliver challenging roles and programs. His international experience spans UK, Australia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the US.
